Winterize Your Home Plumbing to Help Prevent Costly Leaks!

Disconnect and drain all hoses and bring them indoors for winter storage. 

Cover all outside hose spigots with faucet covers or wrap them with rags or towels to insulate them during cold weather conditions.  Faucet covers are inexpensive and can be found in most hardware stores.

Insulate all pipes in unheated crawl spaces with foam pipe insulation.

Turn off and drain or blow out irrigation systems.

Find your meter and your master shutoff valve and practice shutting them on and off before an emergency arises!
