The Sammamish Plateau Water and Sewer District will be holding a public hearing on Monday, August 5, 2013 at 4:00 pm at the District office, located at 1510 228th Avenue SE in Sammamish. The District will discuss proposed revisions to its water and sewer General Facility Charges (GFCs) and Local Facility Charges (LFCs). All District ratepayers, especially those who are interested in developing property within our service territory, are invited to come learn about these charges and provide comments on the District’s recommended adjustments. Members of the public are also invited to attend.
General Facility Charges (GFCs) are intended to cover the cost of the development of the District’s capital facilities, as identified in the Water and Wastewater Comprehensive Plans.
Water and sewer Local Facility Charges (LFCs) are intended to pay a property’s pro rata share of the cost of the existing or future water mains and sewer mains that provide or will provide service to a property.
