It's about a famous rock star who retires suddenly and while hiding from the media fallout, can't stop spying on the strange people who've rented the house across the bay.
The novel is published by The Wild Rose Press in their suspense line, Crimson Rose and at the time I'm typing this Necessary Detour has climbed from 148,000 at midnight, in ranking on millions of Kindle books, to 237th. It is #10 in Kindle Suspense right now but stats change by the hour. Guess what I'll be doing maniacally until Sunday.
