Sammamish Mom Wins Patch MamaCon Raffle
Congratulations to Leslie Irish Evans, a Sammamish Mom and author, who also was a presenter at the conference in Bellevue last weekend.
was a big fun time, with parenting pros from near and far giving talks to Moms from around the region on a variety of topics.
One of those pros, local blogger Leslie Irish Evans, also got lucky, winning the Patch team's raffle for some great swag, packed into a beautiful Vineyard Vines tote, and filled with gifts from Amoré Chocolates, Yuan Spa in Bellevue, and of course, Patch (Patch was one of the sponsors of the event.)
Evans is a writer and speaker living with her family in Sammamish. When she's not tending to the business of Motherhood, she writes a blog called Peeling Mom Off the Ceiling, One Mommy Martyr at a Time.

We tried to chat with Evans about how cool it was that she won, but she's off enjoying a Disney Cruise to Alaska this week.
Of course, all the moms who came to the conference "won," with free chair massages, a "swag store," vendors of children's and parenting products from around the area, and entertainment and workshops throughout the day Saturday.
