This weekend was the annual University House of Issaquah pancake breakfast. Firefighters with Eastside Fire & Rescue served up eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and fruit to the seniors of the facility and their families. Santa also attended the event. A special "Thank You" to the University House as this is their annual fundraiser where a portion of the funds are donated to Eastside Fire to purchase a piece of equipment. This year, the Rad-57, a device used to detect carbon monoxide when firefighters are on an emergency scene, will be purchased through these funds. Great event!
