Animal Cruelty Charges Filed Against Issaquah Chihuaha Breeder

King County District Court has charged Margaret Ann Hamilton in a case that involved 100 dogs reportedly kept in squalid conditions in Issaquah and Burien.

Animal cruelty charges have been filed against an Issaquah dog breeder, accused of starving and neglecting 100 dogs, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.

Last September, animal welfare workers with  Pasado’s Safe Haven received an anonymous tip and visited both homes, then reporting Margaret Ann Hamilton and her husband, now deceased, to the King County Sheriff's Office, the PI reported.

The animals were removed from the home, many rushed to emergency veterinarian care, and altogether, 14 of the dogs had to be euthanized for severe medical problems.
