Seattle Police Department corrected their earlier statement and now say that the suspect has not died. Police report that the suspect is being treated at Harborview Medical Center after he shot himself in the head.

A woman from Bellevue was one of the four victims shot and killed during a rampage Wednesday that Seattle Police attributed to one man, who reportedly killed himself in West Seattle, according to KIRO TV.
KIRO TV reported that the woman's family contacted the television station to say that she was an innocent victim in the day's shootings, which started at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Cafe Racer, at 5828 Roosevelt Way NE. in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood.
Seattle police say that three people were shot and killed and two people were critically wounded in that shooting.
Within an hour of that shooting, the woman reportedly from Bellevue was shot and killed, and her Mercedes SUV taken in a possible carjacking at Eighth Avenue and Seneca Street near Town Hall in Seattle's First Hiill neighborhood. Witnesses told KIRO that bystanders attempted to perform CPR on the woman after she was shot in the head.
The gunman dumped the SUV in West Seattle and then shot himself in the head after he was spotted by an officer, Seattle police told reporters Wednesday.
Seattle police told reporters that investigators connected the two shootings by witness descriptions of an item on his person that was spotted in the two locations.
