Boy Struck by SUV Near Sammamish Presbyterian

Sammamish Police confirmed reports that a boy was struck by a vehicle at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday near Sammamish Presbyterian Church.

According Sammamish Police Sgt. Jessica Sullivan, officers responded to 22522 NE Inglewood Hill Rd. where a six-year-old boy had been hit by a car in a parking lot. The child suffered a punctured lung, but is expected to make a full recovery.  

Detectives from the King County Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Response and Reconstruction Unit responded to the scene. The case remains under investigation.
