Burglars Swipe $3,000 in Jewelry From Tree Farm Home Under Renovation — Sammamish Police Blotter

The following information from June 5-8 was supplied by the Sammamish Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sammamish Police are investigating a residential burglary reported on June 5 involving $3,000 of jewelry missing from a home in the Tree Farm neighborhood on 239th Ave. NE.

The 45-year-old homeowner reported the valuables missing from her home on the 500 block of 239th Ave. NE, which has been undergoing significant remodeling work for the past several months.

She said she had last seen the jewelry on Dec. 15, 2012, before she placed them in a jewelry box, and noticed the box was missing on April 30. She delayed in filing the report because she wanted more time to check the property for her missing jewelry. The construction company owner working on the house said he had no idea who may have taken the items.
