Were any of you there when this happened? Can you share any info about what happened or how well the Starbucks team handled this frightening situation?

I find this interesting, as I am in a foot/ancle cast for another 3 weeks, and a boot for 6 weeks after that. In doing a bit of research, I found a case in California, where a person was charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter, for killing a man in a cross walk, while driving with a medical boot on. http://www.sftriallawyers.com/2012/07/did-medical-boot-cause-fatal-accident.shtml Different stat, different laws. Had I not sceen this artical, and others, I would not have thought about it, and drove. I did, actually for a few days. But now, knowing this, I would have a hard time living with myself if I did have an accident and hurt someone. In addition, I would think any lawer, would immediately point a finger at the boot, as, at least a partial responsibility. I am just lucky I have a co-worker that lives near by that I can carpool with. What a pain.
