Eastside Fire Responds to Klahanie Condo Fire

The blaze was reported about 2:30 this morning; all residents were evacuated safely and King County is investigating the cause of the blaze.

Eastside Fire and Rescue responded to a fire at the Tanglewood condo complex in Klahanie early this morning, after someone called and reported seeing flames and smoke from a nearby roof.

Building B of the complex, which is located at 25025 SE Klahanie Blvd, in unincorporated Issaquah,Β was evacuated after the fire was reported about 2:30 in the morning on Friday, May 18. One person was treated for possible smoke inhalation at the scene.

Fire crews were able to extinguish a small in the unit with extinguishers and put the fire out in the attic of the building, getting it under control by 3 a.m.

King County investigators are investigating the cause of the fire.

Units 73, 83, 71, 75, and air unit 81 responded to the blaze.
