Homeowners Subdue Issaquah Residential Burglary Suspect

The woman was interrupted by the owners during an alleged robbery on Sunday night, who struggled with her until police arrived.

Sometimes crime doesn't pay. Issaquah homeowners walked in on a woman apparently burglarizing their home Sunday night, and detained her until police arrived and arrested her.

On Sunday, Jan. 20, at about 9:45 pm.m. Issaquah Police responded to a residential burglary in progress in the 100 block of Northwest Alder Place.

According to police, upon returning home the homeowners saw an unknown woman inside of their residence and called 911. The woman attempted to flee and was detained by the homeowner until police arrived. During her attempt to get away, she kicked and struggled with the homeowner.

The woman was found in possession of numerous items belonging to the homeowners that had been taken from inside the residence. She was described as a 30-year-old Seattle resident and was booked into the King County Jail on Burglary 1st Degree charges.
