Issaquah Police Blotter: Inmate Begs to Stay in Jail, Dine & Dash at Coho Café, and More

The following reports are compiled from Issaquah Police reports for Oct. 28-31. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Sunday, Oct. 28

Criminal Trespass: A 22-year-old Renton man was arrested for criminal trespass on the 6100 block of E Lake Sammamish Parkway SE.

Robbery: Police responded to a robbery at the 1100 block of NW Gilman Blvd.

Bike seat lifted: A resident of the 200 block of  NW Dogwood Street reported to police that when he returned froma trip his bike seat was missing; he found it nearby in a motorcycle bag around the corner, which he believes belongs to  his neighbor.

Wants to stay in lockup: An inmate was being processed out of jail, but complained to police that he had nowhere to stay if he was released and he’d reoffend so he could be taken into custody.

Vehicle Prowl: About $200 in cash was reported stolen from a Mazda CX7 on the 2200 block of NW Talus Drive.

Tuesday, Oct. 30

Vehicle prowl: A pair of sunglasses and a headlamp were stolen from a 2004 Chevy truck on the 1700 block of 12th Ave. NE.

Vehicle Prowl: Roadside equipment and a garage door opener were stolen from a 2005 Honda Accord on the 1700 block of NE Huckleberry Ct.

Vehicle Prowl: A laptop, shoes and a bag, totally a value of about $3,000, were stolen out of a BMW 750 on the 2500 block of 33rd Ave NE.

Dog bite: A 16-year-old was bitten on the ankles and  right hand, on the 23000 block of SE 58th Street. The case was referred to King County Animal Control.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

DUI Accident: A 24-year-old Sammamish woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI after being involved in a non-injury accident at Front Street and I-90. Her blood alcohol level was recorded at .176 and .161.

Domestic Violence: A 33-year-old Issaquah woman was arrested after an altercation at the 200 block of SW Clark Street.

Dine and Dash: Coho Café reported a $64 loss from stolen food and drinks at the restaurant.

Car stolen: A Blue 1991 Honda Civic was stolen from the 6200 Block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway SE.

Halloween Shenanigans: Police responded to a report of four kids throwing eggs at a door and lighting off fireworks on the 3200 Block of NE Harrison Drive.

Alcohol theft: A business on the 700 block of NW Gilman Blvd reported that someone stole a bottle of Bacardi rum worth about $35.

Take me to Jail, please: A man told Police he would throw a rock through a window to get taken to jail for mental health issues. He later reconsidered the decision and decided his mental health combined with alcohol consumption warrented a talk with a mental health counselor.
