Issaquah Police Blotter: Trailer stolen, Dogs and Laser Tag Disturbs Neighbors

The following reports are compiled from Issaquah Police reports for June 13-15, 2012. Where there is an arrest noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wednesday, June 13

Fraud: A woman called police to report that someone had called her from an unknown number and asked for personal information for a medical service card. She did not give them any information, but wanted to alert police.

Dog Complaint: A resident of the 200 block of Mountain Park Boulevard SE complained to police about a neighbor’s dog that barks all day. Police advised the resident to call King County Animal Control and King County’s dispute resolution service.

Solicitors Allowed: Police received several calls about men from US Mission soliciting for funds in the area of Summerhill Ridge Drive. Police checked into it, and determined that US Mission is a recognized charity, so the men were allowed to continue their canvassing.

Trespass: A 26-year-old Issaquah man was arrested for criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia on the 100 block of East Sunset Way.

Worried about Ex: A woman called Issaquah Police from China because she had not talked with her ex-husband since March. Police could not reach the man by phone or at his residence, but there was only one newspaper outside the home.

Thursday, June 14

Theft: A bar trailer worth about $3,800 was stolen from the 6000 block of 221st Place SE.

Malicious mischief: An Issaquah resident reported $1,000 in damage to a 2009 Subaru Forester, near the 4100 block of 182nd Avenue SE.

Tricycle stolen: A silver tricycle worth about $100 was reported stolen from the 300 block of NW Dogwood Street.

Possible illegal dumping: An employee of the Washington State Emergency Management office reported to police that a resident of a condo complex around 200 block of Newport Way SW had reported to him that the complex was draining their pool into Issaquah Creek.

Suspicious laser tag: A concerned resident called to report suspicious activity near the 3100 block of NE Norton Lane, where police located and adult playing laser tag with some youths. Police advised them to find a more secluded area to play.

Robbery: Police received a report of a robbery at the 5500 block of East Lake Sammamish Parkway SE; the investigation is ongoing.

Friday, June 15

DUI assist: An off-duty Seattle Police officer requested assistance with a suspected DUI driver after the driver was involved in a head-on collision on I-90 at milepost 25 and became combative. When Issaquah Police arrived, the driver was in Washington State Patrol custody.
