Issaquah Police Blotter: Stolen Bikes, Hit and Run Accident

The following information is from Issaquah Police reports for July 17-19. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Tuesday, July 17

Stolen laptop: A resident of the 400 block of Timber Creek Drive NW reported an Apple laptop stolen, worth about $1,200.

Stolen bicycles: A resident of the 200 block of Newport Way SW reported that two bicycles, worth a total of about $600, had been stolen.

Suspicious activity: Police were dispatched to the Issaquah Park and Ride, after a man and woman were seen propping open the elevator door on a live security camera feed.

Malicious Mischief: The lit portion of the Safeway and REI signs at Issaquah Commons were damaged by vandals.

Wednesday, July 18

Phone threats: A man reported to police that he got a phone call from a blocked number, and when he answered it, a man and woman were on the line. The man threatened to beat him up and then hung up.

Thursday, July 19

Burglary: $1,465 in computer equipment and cash was stolen from the 300 block of NW Gilman Boulevard.

Car prowl: A woman living on the 4500 block of 190th Avenue SE called police to report that someone had tried to enter her truck for the second time in as many weeks; she had not yet filled out a report from the previous incident.

Bicycle Stolen: A $3,000 bike was stolen from the 100 Block of Front Street N.

Stolen Windows: About $800 in windows were stolen from the 500 Block of Rainier Boulevard N.

Hit and Run: A woman reported to police that her car was struck from behind while she was driving on Front Street N, and the other vehicle fled. She provided a description of the vehicle that fled the scene, and Tacoma Police were asked to check on the listed address for that vehicle.
