Issaquah Police Blotter: Suspicious Woman was Just One Sheet to the Wind

The following information is compiled from Issaquah Police reports from Oct. 23-28. Where an arrest is noted, it does not indicate a conviction.

Police were called to the 1800 block of 15th Place NW at about 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28, on a report of a woman walking around outside wearing only a bed sheet. She told police that she got locked out of her room when she went out to smoke a cigarette.

 

Tuesday, Oct. 23

Hit and Run: Around 7 p.m., officers were called to a hit and run in a parking lot at the 400 block of 1st Ave SE, where a witness saw a vehicle back into another vehicle. The witness said the driver got out, looked at the other car, then left.

Malicious Mischief: Police responded to a report of graffiti on NW Talus Drive.

Domestic violence:

Domestic violence: A woman called police about 11 a.m. to report that her boyfriend hit her while they were in her car, before getting out of the vehicle and running off.

Theft: Issaquah Police responded to a report of a theft of about $1,450 worth of consumable goods from a business on the 1500 block of NW Gilman Boulevard.

Roof racks stolen: A resident of the 6100 block of E. Lake Sammamish Parkway SE reported that someone had stolen the roof racks that belong on his 2010 Subaru Impreza sometime that morning.

Thursday, Oct. 25

Alcohol theft: Someone stole about $60 in alcohol from a business on the 1000 block of NW Gilman Boulevard.

Shoplifting: An 18-year-old North Bend woman was arrested on suspicion of third degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Loud Birthday boy: Police were called twice around 10:30 p.m. with reports of suspicious behavior and disturbances in downtown Issaquah. The culprits were four young men walking home from celebrating one of their 21st birthday. Apparently, the birthday boy was arguing with his friends about how to get to his house. The officer advised them to quiet down and pointed them in the right direction.

Heroin possession: A 23-year-old North Bend woman was arrested on the 100 block of Front Street N for possession of heroin.

Friday, Oct. 26

Theft of scrap metal: Police received a report of about $100 worth of scrap metal stolen from the 1500 block of 18tth Ave NW.

Road rage: A driver called police to complain about another car following her on Issaquah Pine Lake Road SE, tailgating and loudly honking her horn.

Fowl in the roadway: Police were called to the 700 block of NW Gilman Boulevard for a  traffic hazard, but by the time they arrived, a goose had been removed from the road. The report does not indicate whether the bird was alive or dead.

Residential Burglary: Police responded to a report of a burglary on the 5100 block of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road SE. The loss was estimated to be $1,300 from theft of a TV, Sony Playstation 3, cash, and a damaged window.
