Memorials for Deputy Stan Chapin Announced

Beloved Sammamish Deputy to be remembered with a pair of services in Bothell.

Memorials for Sammamish Police Sheriff's Deputy Stan Chapin were announced on Thursday.

A public viewing for Deputy Chapin will take place at Bothell's Acacia Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5.

An additional public memorial service for Deputy Chapin will be held at Bothell's Saint Brendan Catholic Church at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

Chapin, , had served with the King County Sheriff's Office for nearly 40 years and had worked as a School Resource Officer at Sammamish's Inglewood Junior High and Eastlake High School for 12 years.
