Update: Reward Offered for Information in Fatal Hit-and-Run near North Bend

Detectives need help locating a suspect vehicle in the accident, which happened around 3 am. New Year's morning on 394th Place SE.

Update, Jan. 2, 1 p.m.: King County Sheriff’s Detectives said in a release that they spent the morning examining evidence from the fatal hit and run that occurred near North Bend early New Year’s morning and now have more information about the suspect vehicle.

Detectives said the headlight found at the scene belongs to a 1987-1991 Ford Bronco or Ford F150 pickup.  Detectives also said the vehicle will have right front damage and not the left front as originally reported.  The right headlight and turn signal light were broken off of the suspect vehicle and scattered at the scene (see photos).

A woman in her 50’s was struck and killed in a hit and run accident earlyNew Year's  morning near North Bend, and police need help locating the suspect vehicle, King County Sheriff's Office said in a press release.

The incident started around 3 a.m. this morning when a group was driving just east of the Snoqualmie Casino after a night out.  An argument ensued and the driver and a woman passenger got out of the car and walked in different directions on 394 Pl SE north of North Bend Way.

The driver eventually walked back to the car and the group drove around looking for the woman.  A short time later they found the woman in a ditch near the 10200 blk of 394 PL SE. She had been struck and killed by a vehicle. 

Detectives said debris left at the scene by the suspect vehicle, including a left front headlight, is consistent with a full size pickup truck.  Detectives believe there will be significant damage to the left front of the truck.
