Just more than a week before school begins for local students, a Sammamish teen took his own life.
The King County Medical Examiner ruled the death a suicide, saying that the 14-year-old boy, who died Saturday, Aug. 25, died of asphyxia due to ligature hanging. The Sammamish Police Department is investigating the boy's death, which calls to mind another tragic death of an .
