Two Arrested in Sammamish Residential Robbery Investigation

Shot fired during robbery, weapon later recovered during search and arrests.

The following information is from a press release issued by the Sammamish Police Department:

On Monday, October 10 just after 10:00 pm, Sammamish officers responded to the report of a robbery where a shot had been fired in the 700 block of 240th Way SE. The occupants of the residence stated that at least two suspects rang the doorbell, then pushed their way into the home and ordered the victims to the ground. When one of the victims challenged the suspects, a shot was fired into a nearby couch. No one was hurt and the bullet was recovered. Detectives believed the robbery was specifically targeted and later discovered the suspects and victims knew each other prior to the incident.

This morning, detectives served a search warrant on a vehicle and residence in the Rainier Valley area of Seattle. Two male suspects, ages 19 and 21, were arrested and additional arrests are pending. At the time the two men were arrested, a weapon was recovered. Both men were subsequently booked into jail.
