The Association of Washington Business will host the first Washington gubernatorial debate between former Congressman Jay Inslee (D) and State Attorney General Rob McKenna (R) on Tuesday at the group's annual Spring Meeting in Spokane.
If you're not a member of the Association of Washington Business, or you can't make it to Spokane, you'll be able to watch the debate live at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 12 on TVW, which will also broadcast the debate on tvw.org. In Bellevue, TVW is on Comcast channel 23 and Broadstripe channel 95.
The debate will be moderated by public radio reporter Austin Jenkins, Olympia correspondent for the Northwest News Network, according to the Association of Washington Business press release.
The gubernatorial debate will be preceded by a state Attorney General debate at 2 p.m., between candidates Reagan Dunn (R) and Bob Ferguson (D), who are both King County Councilmen. Dunn's county district includes parts of Bellevue.
The Seattle Times reports that the Association of Washington Business is expected to endorse Bellevue resident McKenna Wednesday.
