Letter To the Editor: I've Never Been Offended by a Smoker in a Park

To whom it may concern;

I am not a smoker and I frequent the public parks regularly and have NEVER been offended by someone smoking. The VERY few times I have ever witnessed someone smoking in the park, it was an older person making sure to stand far away from the crowd and not bother anyone with their habit. I don't even see why this is an issue worth tackling. Maybe posting signs asking smokers to properly dispose of butts could be helpful, but they should not be banned from smoking outside. That is just ridiculous.
