March 10 is Passport Day in Sammamish

The city is participating in a national effort to process passport applications next month. Passports are now needed when reentering the U.S. from any foreign country, including Canada.

On Saturday, March 10, the will take part in the nation-wide “Passport Day in the USA”.

The city's Passport Acceptance Facility will be open to process passport applications between the hours of 10 a.m and 3 p.m.

To help facilitate the application process, please bring the following: Completed DS 11-Passport Application, the original or Certified Copy (NOT a photocopy) of applicants’ birth certificate or a valid passport.

For minors 15 and under, both, Birth Certificate and old Passport must accompany the application. Additionally, please provide valid photo identification (Drivers License or US Passport), new passport photo and checks for the application fee. The city does not accept credit cards or cash for the passport application fee. Note: All applicants must be present as well as both parents in the case of minors (15 and under).
