WHAT IS THE MOST PRESSING ISSUE FACING VOTERS IN YOUR DISTRICT: Our families need jobs.

IF ELECTED, WHAT WILL YOU DO IN THE FIRST SIX MONTHS IN OFFICE TO ADDRESS THIS ISSUE?  Be an advocate for implementation  of the Priorities of Government Budget model, propose a full review of  the  regulatory structure to ensure that what is on the books serve the public good.

DO YOU SUPPORT/OPPOSE REFERENDUM 74: SHOULD GAY MARRIAGE BE LEGAL IN WASHINGTON? BRIEFLY, WHY?  I support civil unions and the  traditional marriage definition. Referendum 74 grants no additional rights to same sex couples and places restrictions on the freedom of practice of religion.

DO YOU SUPPORT/OPPOSE, INITIATIVE 502 TO MAKE SMALL AMOUNTS OF MARIJUANA LEGAL TO PEOPLE 21 AND OLDER? BRIEFLY, WHY?  I do not currently support this; we need a national policy on marijuana.

We too, love having our Farmers' Market return! Opening day was a bit weather-challenged. ThankRead More you merchants for enduring the wet and cold for our new extended hours! What a wonderful sight will return to the plaza when the sunshine calls back all the families with happy, giggling children. Market day is a date of dinner out (side) & shopping (vegetables, fruits and now HedgeHog Toffee) with my husband. Doesn't get much better than that! SEE YOUR THERE! Susan Gerend
