Reminder: SR 520 Bridge Closed This Weekend
Transportation officials urge drivers to skip unnecessary drives, carpool and pack their patience.
Here's another reminder that the state Route 520 bridge closes Friday night and won't reopen until Monday morning.
The , which involves both directions of 520 traffic between Interstate 405 and Montlake Boulevard, is set to start at 11 p.m. Friday and continue until 5 a.m. Monday.
About 166,000 vehicles travel across the 520 bridge on a typical summer weekend, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
