Sen. Maria Cantwell to Make Campaign Stop in Issaquah Friday, Nov. 2

Cantwell, who faces Republican Michael Baumgartner in the general election, will appear with 5th District Senate Candidate Mark Mullet at Issaquah Coffee Company to talk Washington jobs.

Sen. Maria Cantwell (D-Seattle) will join Mark Mullett (D-Issaquah), candidate for the State Senate, 5th District, at Issaquah Coffee Company in Issaquah's Gilman Village, 317 NW Gilman Blvd., as part of her "Jobs for Washington" campaign bus tour.

Cantwell's campaign said the purpose of the tour is to highlight efforts to help small businesses grow and hire new workers. Mullett, who faces Republican Brad Toft in the heated 5th District contest, is the owner of the Zeek’s Pizza and Ben & Jerry’s in Issaquah. 

Cantwell is traveling around the state in advance of next Tuesday's election underscoring the importance of supporting job growth, expanding educational opportunities and investing in workforce and veterans job training.
