Boys Lacrosse: Giannopulos Nets Hat Trick in Issaquah Victory

Issaquah (5-3-0) delivered six unanswered goals in the first half and then went on cruise control to defeat Auburn Riverside, 11-4.

Mikey Giannopulos recorded a hat trick as Issaquah High School powered to its fifth win of the spring with an 11-4 boys high school lacrosse win over Auburn Riverside, Friday at Pete’s Pool Stadium in Enumclaw.

The Eagles delivered six unanswered goals in the first then went on cruise control with singles in the second and third and a three-goal fourth for the win.

Giannopulos added an assist to finish with four points, while Zach Fritz, had a pair for the Eagles.

For Auburn Riverside, Josh Devenport and Dane Barber led the way with two goals each.

Issaquah (5-3-0) next faces Oregon Episcopal School (0-2-0), Thursday, April 11 in an 8 p.m. start at the Oregon Episcopal School in Portland, Ore.  Auburn Riverside (4-3-0) next faces Tahoma (1-5-0), Wednesday, April 17 in an 8 p.m. start at Pete’s Pool Stadium in Enumclaw.
