Viewfinder: Eastside Catholic Art on Display at Starbucks

Paintings and drawings by AP Studio Art and Painting students at Eastside Catholic will be on display at the Starbucks on 228th Avenue NE throughout January.

A class of artists from Eastside Catholic descended on Thursday morning to celebrate their monthlong show there.

Art teacher Megan McDermott, also an Eastside Catholic alumna, said she might rotate the pieces throughout the month, and that there will be future opportunities for student shows at the popular coffee house.

Most of the students in the AP class are juniors and seniors, with a few sophomores in the mix as well.
