Eastside Catholic Clinches Metro Title

Eastside beat Blanchet 6-4 Saturday, May 12, for the win.

On Saturday, the sun was shining in Seattle and on the Crusaders, as they beat Blanchet in extra innings to clinch the Metro Championship with a score of 6-4. 

They brought home the trophy and did it with fight and class. Jeff Bohling, of Bellevue, hit his second walk off homer to win the game in the bottom of the 9th, while Alex Foley, of Issaquah, pitched nine innings and got the win. 

Eastside Catholic, with a 16-5 record, will play at 1 p.m. next Saturday at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue in the Class 3A regionals.
