Eastside Catholic Pitches for First Ever State Baseball Championship

The Crusaders take on Kamiakin today in the final; meanwhile EC Lacrosse will take on Bellevue for the state title.

After piling on 10 runs in the 7th to finish with a score of 13-1 over Kelso, the Eastside Catholic Crusaders baseball team is moving on the State 3A final vs. Kamiakin, today, May 26, at 4 p.m. If you can't be there, check out the action at WIAA Network,Β 

On its Facebook page, Eastside Catholic expressed its excitement for the team: "First time ever in EC history!"

Meanwhile, Eastside Catholic's Lacrosse bested King's Way 13-8 to take on the Bellevue Wolverines, who dominated Mercer Island in the semis, 13-2.

The win earned the Crusaders a spot in a Comcast televised boys Division I state championship matchup with Bellevue at 6 p.m. today, May 26, at Seattle’s Memorial Stadium.
