Effective Networking for Employment

Why networking is so important for getting a job in today's environment.  Participants will learn how to take their job goal and develop a comprehensive approach to professional networking program.  Topics include myths of networking, developing a network "system", the 4 core elements of networking information exchange, commonalties, and relationships.  Other topics include discovering your hidden network, building professional networks, networking tools and strategies.  Special attention is given to the use of LinkedIn and social networking websites as part of participant's overall networking strategy.
