The new director will serve through November.

Interviews are planned for March 6 for the five candidates who have applied for the open seat on the Issaquah School Board, according to SammamishReview.com.

The applicants are seeking to fill the seat vacated when Chad Magendanz was elected to the state House.

The applicants, according to Sammamish Review, are Lisa Callan, Margo Campbell, Alison Meryweather, Justin Park and Justin Rolfe. (Read the full story for more information about them.)

The new District 4 director will serve through November of this year. The district spans the majority of the Issaquah downtown corridor, the Issaquah Highlands, Preston, Mirrormont, Tiger Mountain and the district’s southeast corner.
