Skyline Takes Issaquah for Girls 4A Soccer Title

The Spartans edged out the injury-plagued Eagles to win their fourth title in five years. Skyline and Eastside Catholic each advanced to the state football semi-finals.

The Skyline Girls Soccer program scored another state title this year, after sophomore Izzy Marshall scored the sole goal in the team's matchup against Issaquah 15 minutes in.

Issaquah made it to the finals despite a lineup full of injuries, giving the teams, each coached by Mercer Island graduates--Skyline coach Don Braman and Issaquah coach Tom Bunnell--a chance to test their mettle.
