36th Annual Issaquah Run presented by Issaquah Rotary

Issaquah Rotary Presents the 36th Annual Issaquah Run

On Sunday, September 30, 2012, the Issaquah Rotary Foundation is again hosting the Issaquah Run for charity.  Everyone is invited to participate in the10K Run, 5K Run/Walk or the Kids Run.  Whether you run, walk or just want to stroll--get everyone involved and come out for a really fun event.  Event proceeds benefit the patients of the Swedish Care Institute and other charities supported by the Issaquah Rotary Foundation (501c3).

This year we are proud to partner with the Swedish Cancer Institute to help cancer patients with uncompensated care costs.  Every year cancer patients are not only fighting their disease but handling the stress of paying for their care.  While their treatment cost may be covered there are the uncompensated care costs that are not.  There are a multitude of stories of patients who have run into problems and costs just getting to their appointments.  This is just one example of what uncompensated care covers.
