Sammamish to Celebrate Little Leaguers at Airport & Sept. 3 City Hall Party
The event will honor both the Little League baseball Northwest champions and World Series contenders and the softball state champs.
Welcome the Northwest champions home in style next week — a "welcome back" Eastlake Little League cheer is set at Sea-Tac Airport on Monday and a Sammamish City Hall party on Tuesday will celebrate the Little League's boys and girls All Stars.
The event will not only honor the World Series contenders, but also the 11-12 (Majors) Little League girls All Stars softball team, which won the 2013 state title.
The team is scheduled to arrive back in Seattle at 4:15 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 26 on a Delta flight. The plan is to have a crowd of fans meet them at the airport.There will also be a party at Sammamish City Hall on Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 5 p.m. for Eastlake Little League's baseball and softball All-Star teams.
And finally, On Friday, Sept. 6, the Little League baseball and softball All-Star teams will be recognized at the Eastlake High School football game against Lakes (Lakewood) High School.
