Three Local Girls Lacrosse Stars Named to All-State Team

The Washington Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association today announced the 2013 All-State teams for Girls Varsity high school lacrosse.
 
Twenty-four student-athletes from 12 high schools across the state are among the girls First and Second Team honorees.
 
Third-year honorees include Bainbridge High School’s Madeline Stevenson, Interlake High School’s Camille Sullivan, Mercer Island High School’s Tyler Sherper, The Overlake School’s Zoe Pinczower, and Woodinville High School’s Meg Chapman.
 
Second-year honorees include Lakeside School’s Kaylee Best, Joe Canino and Natalie Fox,  Redmond High School’s Claire Monsaas and Glacier Peak High School’s Hanna Dalrymple.
 
First-year honorees include Bainbridge High School’s Paige Brigham, Sallie Marx, and Regan Wortley; Eastside Catholic School’s Ashley Blanton; Glacier Peak High School’s Kayla Petz; Issaquah High School’s Suzy Emerson; Lakeside School’s Avalon Igawa, Rebecca Long, Amanda Roper and Amerra Scheckles; Mercer Island High School’s Dulce Moll; Skyline High School’s Katie Bucy; Snohomish High School’s Hailey Nyquist; and Woodinville High School’s Alexandra Johnson.
 
Schools represented by multiple student-athletes include Lakeside (7), Bainbridge (4), Mercer Island (2), Glacier Peak (2), and Woodinville (2).
 
The following schools were each represented by one student-athlete; Eastside Catholic School, Interlake High School, Issaquah High School, The Overlake School, Skyline High School, Redmond High School, and Snohomish High School.
 
In total, 14 seniors, 6 juniors, and 4 sophomores were named to the 2013 girls All-State teams.
 
The All-State selections are made by coaches from varsity girls teams in Washington state.
