Video Snapshots: Alex Zerbe, Professional Zaniac Kicks Off Summer Reading Fun

Zerbe, of Last Comic Standing and America's Got Talent fame, gave a performance to 100+ kids at the Issaquah Library July 2, and he's slated for KidsFirst! at Beaver Lake Park Tuesday, July 10.

Alex Zerbe, of Olympia, is a captivating kinetic comic and a crowd-pleaser, with his mix of cheesy jokes, impressive juggling, and all-around fun performance.

He helped kick off the summer reading series at King County's July 2, but if you missed it, have no fear, he'll be back next week to kick off the KidsFirst! concert series hosted at parks around Sammamish by Sammamish Kiwanis, with the Friends of the .

Zerbe, who holds two world records (though it's not immediately clear what for) and has appeared on national shows such as America's Got Talent and Last Comic Standing, got plenty of kids (and, um, perhaps a Local Patch editor) involved in his antics, and kept the rapt attention of 100 children and adults for an hour during his wildly animated performance. Now that's entertainment.
