Affordable Housing Citizen Advisory Board Seeks Volunteer Members

The city of Issaquah seeks volunteer citizens to join an advisory board to help guide affordable housing in King County.

Make your voice heard on affordable housing funding and programs in our region: Join A Regional Coalition for Housing’s Citizen Advisory Board.

The volunteer board consists of 12 to 15 residents and housing professionals that work with ARCH staff to evaluate local housing funding proposals and increase awareness of housing issues on the Eastside.

ARCH is a partnership of King County, City of Issaquah and other East King County cities to preserve and increase the supply of housing for low- and moderate-income families.

Citizen Advisory Board members contribute their understanding of housing and community issues, as well as specialized perspectives, such as real estate, housing development, planning, finance, assisting persons with low income or special needs, faith community, racial diversity, architecture and residents of affordable housing.

The board typically meets one Wednesday evening per month for two hours.
