Members of NCL, Inc. Lake Sammamish Chapter spent a recent Saturday with Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust at Snoqualmie Point Park. Mothers & Daughters from the Class of 2013 joined a large community workforce to remove weeds and other invasive plants from the park areas. Areas were planted with wildflowers of different varieties. "It was a perfect day to be outside working - the sunshine was wonderful," said current Class President Michele Dusche. Class of 2013 members: Makenzie Schmid, Haley Blatter, Kirsten Anderson, Kelsey Nyce, and Michele Dusche. Kathleen Anderson

Sammamish Plateau resident and singer Charles Zhou learned to sing when he was a boy in China. He often walked by himself. The singing helped him feel more brave.
