Located just near the commercial Gilman Blvd. shopping district and the Issaquah Park and Ride lot, on 12th Avenue NW and Newport Way NW, the park provides a large public space for families and sports enthusiasts.

Skyline Community Fields

The Skyline Community Fields are a cooperative project between the city of Sammamish and the Issaquah SchoolMore District. The synthetic fields, ideal for soccer, softball, lacrosse, football and baseball throughout the year, are located on the Skyline High School campus.

The fields cover four acres and opened in 2006. The fields can be rented. While youth sports cost $45 per hour, adult sports carry a charge of $70 per hour. Use of the field lights costs $20 per hour.

To reserve the fields, email rentals@ci.sammamish.wa.us or use the city's online reservation form.

There are times when the fields are unused and open.

Pine Lake Park
228th Ave SE & SE 24th St, Sammamish, WA 98075

Pine Lake Park sits off 228th Avenue Southeast, the main street on the Sammamish Plateau. Inside the parkMore has soaring trees and visitors will find play areas for kids, fields, picnic tables and a boat launch.

When the weather is nice, the park is the site for various community events, such as Summer Nights at the Park, concerts, outdoor movies and plays. In addition to access to Pine Lake, the park has a baseball field, basketball court and climbing wall for kids.

The picnic shelter can be reserved. People also can reserve the fields. Questions about rentals also can be sent to rentals@ci.sammamish.wa.us.

Eastlake Community Sports Fields

The Eastlake Community Sports Fields provide more than three acres of synthetic turf and sits on the campusMore of Eastlake High School, right near the football field.

The city of Sammamish is responsible for the fields, which have lights and are ideal for soccer, softball, lacrosse and baseball throughout the year. The project was accomplished through a partnership with the Lake Washington School District.

The city rents the fields in the evenings and on the weekends. For 2011, youth sports cost $45 per hour and adult sports cost $70 per hour. Use of the lights cost $20 per hour. There are times when the fields are open and empty. The fields also can be rented in the summer.

Restrooms and seating for spectators are available. A gate with the city's name marks the main entrance.

Pine Lake Community Center

The Pine Lake Community Center is a venue on the Sammamish Plateau that can be rented to hold weddings, parties,More meetings, receptions and other events.

The center's lodge was built in 1938 and can hold about 150 people. In addition to parties and receptions, the lodge is the site of various classes, including exercise, yoga and dance.

As of December 2010, the rental price for Friday from 5pm to midnight was $300, plus a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee. On Sundays, the rental fee is $40 per hour, plus a $100 non-refundable cleaning fee.

The site also has a baseball or softball field as well as a gravel parking lot.

The nonprofit group, which is privately owned, also calls itself the Pine Lake Community Club. The office phone is 425-392-4041. An information phone number is 425-392-2313.
