Sammamish Commons is city-owned property and the site of City Hall and the Sammamish Library. It also is home toMore trails and a play area, near the parking lots.

The area includes a skate park, complete with ramps to do flips, a climbing wall and a basketball court. From this property, there are views of downtown Seattle on a clear day as well as sunsets.

The trail area has picnic shelters and a barbecue grill.

The city of Sammamish's newest park sits northwest of Pine Lake and on the west side of the Plateau. It opened inMore 2007. It offers 12 acres of space and amenities, including playgrounds, tennis courts, soccer goals and basketball hoops.

Ebright Creek runs on the west side of the park. The park has wetlands, as well as a wooden boardwalk. The park's picnic shelter is available for rent. Sammamish residents would pay $100 for half-day use and $150 for full-day use. Nonresidents would pay $250 for half-day use and $375 for full-day use.
