Val loves to read, write, and edit other people's words. (Val's a bit of a know-it-all and finds the challenge of researching other's facts entirely too satisfying.) She has a large collection of red pens she enjoys using a little too much.
When not sitting in front of a computer, Val enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, and bike riding with her boy. She used to enjoy scuba diving in the Sound until she did her first warm-water dive. Then she retired her dry suit in favor of a wetsuit and is planning her next tropical diving vacation.
