Washington State Chapter of The International Association of Forensic Nurses present "The Invisible War" Documentary

The Washington Chapter of the International Association of Forensic Nurses invite you to a screening of THE INVISIBLE WAR documentary.
THE INVISIBLE WAR brings to light the epidemic of sexual assault within the US armed forces. We hope that it also has the power to spark dynamic, respectful and much-needed conversation about sexual assault, institutional power, trauma, healing and the steps necessary to effect widespread, systemic change in the way the US military prevents, responds to and prosecutes military sexual assault.
Following the screening there will be a brief discussion period. We thank our sponsors at Swedish for donating The Leadership Room and light refreshments and our King County Sexual Assault Resource Center for providing us with resources and information about their services.
Please note that the themes and issues uncovered by THE INVISIBLE WAR can be emotionally difficult for many audiences, and particularly for survivors of military sexual trauma. For mature audience members only.
Seating is limited so please RSVP to wastateiafn@gmail.com
