Adopt This Pet: Casper the Cocker

Motley Zoo Rescue in Redmond is looking for Casper's "forever" home.

How could you not love that face? Casper and two other cocker spaniels were without a home and Redmond's Motley Zoo Rescue took them into their foster dog program.

Casper is a 3-year-old cuddly male, who is neutered. He "melts into your hands," as described by people at his new foster home. "He just wants love and affection." This is often true for rescued dogs; they appreciate your attention and tender, love and care. If a family is interested, he would be great for dog-respectful children who are 8 years of age or older. He is easygoing and loves his buddy Mitzi, another cocker that is looking for a home. So, if you are looking for a pair of dogs, these two would be perfect. Please see the Motley Zoo Rescue website for a picture of Mitzi and more information on all the dogs.

Casper is great in a crate and he is working on his house training. He enjoys all other dogs. As is common with cockers, he does have an ear infection that is getting cleared up. Cockers do require grooming and monitoring of the ears. Hypo-allergenic food also helps.

Notes from Casper's Foster Home: Casper is a sweet and loving boy. He's on the bigger side for a cocker, but it's because he has a big heart! He is a darling, easy-going little boy! He has bonded to Mitzi and would love to find a home together with her. Casper is microchipped, flea treated, de-wormed and is current on vaccines. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs. In addition, all pets adopted from Motley Zoo come with 30 days of free pet insurance provided by Shelter Care.

Please email adopt@motleyzoo.org and request an adoption application and we will work toward approving you as an adopter with our rescue so that we can set a time for you to meet! For more information, please visit www.motleyzoo.org. Thank you for considering adopting a dog in need!
